Capturing treasured memories

I’m Mariusz, a Polish-Canadian photographer based in Tokyo.

Born in Poland, raised in Canada, and now living in Japan, I have spent much of my life moving between different cultures and perspectives. I speak English, Polish, and Japanese, which allows me to communicate naturally with a wide range of people and helps create a more comfortable, personal experience.

My background includes wedding, couples, portrait, and street photography. Years of photographing people and relationships have shaped a documentary approach centred on observation, connection, and atmosphere. I aim to create a visual record that feels natural, cohesive, and personal.

Street photography remains an important influence on my work. It has taught me to work intuitively, respond to changing environments, and recognize moments that cannot be recreated. Combined with a film-inspired aesthetic, this approach helps me create images that feel cinematic while remaining grounded in real experience.

I work primarily with couples, families, and travellers visiting Japan. My aim is to create photographs that reflect both the people and the place, preserving the character of your time together.
